Happy New Year, I hope our next trip around the sun is full of hope, reform and freedom of speech.
Speaking of the latter, I’m finally back on Twitter after nearly 5 months of being “permanently” suspended for sharing a news clip of Tucker Carlson reading from the Lancet (story here). It feels good to have my voice back in the De Facto Town Square. Being silenced gives me an even deeper appreciation for my belief that “Freedom of Speech Is Essential to Human Rights.” Even though, we now know that Free Speech on social media costs approximately $44 Billion Dollars (oh the irony.)
The dichotomy of old Twitter vs. new Twitter or as I like to refer to it: Twitter B.E. vs. Twitter A. E. — Twitter Before Elon vs. Twitter After Elon
Of course there are some people who are not fan of the Twitter A.E. but nearly everyone I know (including myself) is loving the new direction the platform is going. Twitter B.E. will be viewed as a dark time of censorship and dystopia.
However, Twitter A.E. feels alive and free of so-called shadowbanning (from my own account/experience s far)
For instance, athread I wrote on Twitteryesterday afternoon unexpectedly took off and has since garnered more than 1.7 million views / 2 million impressions. This would have never happened if the Twitter B.E. policies and people were still in place. Why? Because I called out a fact-checker and the story would have most likely been suppressed the second it showed up on their radar.
So in case you missed it or you are not on Twitter, here’s my short story about Jeff.
Meet Jeff.
For what it’s worth, Jeff looks like a nice guy. I’m even willing to bet that Jeff wakes up everyday and tries his best to do his job, despite his shortcomings and lack of credentials to do so.
You see, Jeff is a “Fact-Checker” for Politifact and gets paid to discredit Covid misinformation. So one might ask what are Jeff’s qualifications?
1) Is Jeff a Doctor? No.
2) Is Jeff a Scientist? No.
3) Does he have a PhD? No.
4) Does he have medical experience? No.
Jeff is, for all intents and purposes, a wordsmith. Alongside a profile picture (of him as a dog) is a list of his journalistic contributions and associations.
As I said before, Jeff is probably a nice guy, but Jeff is just one of many in an epidemic of ‘False Fact-Checking Prophets’ who are plaguing society right now. Each of whom are paid to discredit inconvenient truths and mislead the public. For instance, take a look this fact-check by Jeff as a recent example of his work. Jeff rated this tweet as “FALSE”:
So how did Jeff arrive at the “False” conclusion? Well, weirdly it’s unclear since the evidence he presented to supposedly support a “False” claim, directly contradicts his conclusion and actually verifies the original @hodgetwins tweet.
There’s also another recent fact-check that was also concluded as “False” by Jeff. This claim was regarding a social media post insinuating that clots/strokes in athletes was likely a side effect of the vaccines.
One of the athletes mentioned had a stroke due to a blood clot. So did Jeff find evidence proving it wasn’t caused by a C•19 vaccine? No. Doctors said they weren’t able to determine a cause. So how can the vaccine be ruled out? It can’t. Therefore Jeff lied by omission.
And another of the athletes aforementioned, doesn’t support his false label either—and further validates he should have labeled it as inconclusive/unknown since Jeff was unable to explicitly rule out if the blood clots in her lungs were caused by the C•19 shot or not.
If Jeff was a pathologist, vaccinologist, immunologist or treated any of the athletes, then we might view it as his medical opinion, but he’s not. Sadly, Jeff acts as a propagandist, discrediting inconvenient truths at the expense of misleading the public.
One might also ask: Are ‘False Fact-Checking Prophets’ just totally inept? Or are ‘False Fact-Checking Prophets’ relying on the ineptitude of the public?
Some could likely make a case for either, or both for that matter. Either way, as the world tries to find a new since of post-Covid normalcy again, I hope they also find the ability to think for themselves and not rely on paid pundits like Jeff, the “False Fact-Checking Prophet”.
We don’t need someone telling us what they want us to see or think, we need to take back our sovereignty as intelligent human beings, make time to read, think critically and assess what is real and what isn’t. And when we’re unable to decipher what to believe, find people with the experience and expertise that might help garner insight or go directly to the source yourself. Don’t google and click on the first Jeff that pops up, Jeff is far from an expert on anything but being a wordsmith.

Jeff "fact checked" me on Facebook for that exact post. I told Jeff and Zuckerberg to fuck off 😉 Unfortunately, many people believe these "fact checks" as gospel. Even the ones that begrudgingly say "partly false" which in other words they are admitting it is atleast PARTLY TRUE. Fools all of them.
FWIW, the credentials are not the issue. There are tens of thousands of laypeople that could and can properly analyze and summarize data.
In fact, I would propose that credentialism and appeals to authority are part of the problem with the debate in public health (as well as in numerous other sectors)z Jeff is just a paid propagandist for the institutions that don’t want to be questioned or held accountable. He’s paid to repeat the lies. He doesn’t understand the lies, not does he need to, he’s just there to try to convince you of an overwhelming “consensus” and that you’re crazy for not believing it. He’s a cog in a very well oiled and funded machine that needs to be torn down, set on fire, and the earth salted.
Last night I entered the limited view world of Twitter and couldn't believe my eyes. As you say, discussions on the 'scamdemic' partout... Lots of information that would have received a ban previously or certainly a disinfo mark... Yay!
Jeff is the new Karen. We will talk a lot about Jeff In 2023. Keep these images handy and circulate for the tsunami of memes that it will inspire. Jeff is the vicious tattle tale behind everyone’s back and he enjoys it as it resembles a video game where he is constantly on screen zapping enemies for pay. More exciting because he shoots down real people, famous highly credentialed people, vaccine injured in pain, and so more sociopathic. Perhaps the bonus is higher the more followers one has if Jeff takes her down. He can also reassure himself that he is a good person with gainful employment while playing the video game of Fact Check all alone in his basement fortified by the junk food he is apparently consuming. The real joke might be on all of us as Jeff may be an AI chosen for us to mock in its absurdity with that photo.
Nice article. It's almost certainly safe to assume that Jeff and/or his employer(s) are "brought to you by Pfizer", or similar. Big pharma coverups and lies are standard operating procedure.
There is a disagreement between Rumble and the State over free speech, i.e. Rumble, instead of acceding to censorship has pulled the service whilst the lawyers take their turn.
In the country of Voltaire, 'I may not agree with what you say but I I'll defend to death your right to say it'. Macron, ex-Rothschild, Veran, Valls and others, WEFfers, the import of McKinsey in the gene therapy roll out, censorship and public/private partnership in health that would put a smile on Mussolini's face. The movement to 'France direct' and a single digital identity is in full swing. 'Isn't it wonderful the public can put all their personal data in one place?'... Erm, no... F@ck off! My replacement 'carte vitale' (health service card) is yet to arrive and although French bureaucracy is notoriously slow, I suspect shenanigans (the only reason for the new one is the reorganisation of state providers - what a coincidence).
I am not fully on board with the rest of the argument. Europe differs in its view of left/right, has no McCarthyite hangover as to 'commies' or, 'partisans' as we prefer, given it was they that were the backbone of the resistance against the fascos (fascists) in occupied Europe. Bella ciao, Bella ciao, Bella ciao, ciao, ciao... I find a lot of Americans on Substack unable to process that. Likewise, and understanding that far left and far right 'meet around the back' under authoritarianism, one must understand that it is only the coming together of 'far left' 'Nupes' under Melanchon from predominantly the SW and the 'far right' under Le Pen (who probably won the election) from the NE, that stopped the 'centrists' by taking the majority and stopping (if only 'arresting') vax passports and further insanity.
The last three years have been a time of obfuscation and the rewriting of definition, I think the same true of political definition. Up is down, black is white etc.

I was banned on Twitter for making reference to the subjects of Hartlepool at the turn of the century hanging a monkey from a shipwreck as a Napoleon spy and the current political candidate... (It wasn't... It was my push against 'the Science ©'). And despite protest am not reinstated. (I'm in France so no Rumble either).
